Scholarships

FIRST, and its partners, offer millions of dollars in scholarships! These are awarded generally to High school seniors on a FIRST team. While some of the scholarships have criteria to be met by the recipient, there are many without, and plenty to choose from!

Upcoming FIRST Scholarship Deadlines

Seniors

• University of Texas at Austin Crockrell School of Engineering FIRST Scholarship 12/1/2014
  – $2,000 for High School Seniors in FRC or FTC with at least a 3.50 GPA
  – Must apply and Enroll in the School of Engineering

• Adelphi University Fred Breithut FIRST Scholarship 1/1/2015
  – $6,000 renewable for four years for incoming seniors in FRC, FTC, or an FLL mentor.  Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA (Requires recommendation letter)

• George Fox University Scholarship  1/1/2015
  – $2,500 to a high school senior participating in a FRC or FTC team. Must have a 3.5 GPA and must eventually be admitted to George Fox University
  – Can use for any course of study at George Fox University

• Olin College of Engineering Scholarship 1/1/2015
  –  50% off tuition for four years and participates in FIRST. Must have a 3.5 GPA, pursued higher level course work, top 5% in standardized tests, has extracurriculars, skilled leader and team player

• Drexel University Scholarship 1/13/2015
  – $2,666 each quarter. Must maintain a 2.75 GPA and enroll at Drexel (essay required) (two recommendations required)
